Green Procurement Policy

  • As PAPILLON HOTELS, in our supply chain management:

    • We prioritize working with suppliers who hold environmental, human rights, occupational health and safety, sustainability certifications and comply with environmental regulations.

    • We give priority to environmentally sustainable suppliers and products, including food, beverages, construction materials, and consumables, and we conduct periodic audits.

    • We ensure that our suppliers use natural resources without harming the ecosystem.

    • In all purchasing activities, we respect animal rights and ensure that wildlife trade and usage comply with sustainability principles as well as local, regional, and international laws. We do not procure illegal products, nor do we source from suppliers involved in hunting or trading invasive or endangered species.

    • For products derived from nature—especially wood, paper, fish, other foods, and fuel—we prefer environmentally certified products and suppliers. Where certified options are not available, we research and consider the origin and methods of growth or production.

    • To minimize waste at our facilities, we carefully manage the procurement and use of fewer consumables and single-use materials, preferring reusable, returnable, and recycled products.

    • We expect our suppliers to work toward minimizing and properly managing waste and to offer reduced or alternative packaging solutions.

    • We prioritize purchasing products that cause minimal environmental harm and consume less energy. We also prefer local/regional procurement to reduce environmental impact during logistics and storage processes, aiming to reduce emission levels from deliveries.

    • We support local initiatives that develop and offer sustainable products and services rooted in the region’s nature, history, and culture.

    • In line with fair trade principles, we avoid situations that may lead to bribery, corruption, or conflicts of interest, and we prioritize business partners who comply with legal regulations and ethical commercial standards. We track and manage the proportion of goods and services purchased under these principles.

    • We protect the intellectual property rights of all our business partners.
