Green Procurement Policy

  • In managing the supply chain as PAPILLON HOTELS;
  • We emphasize that our suppliers must hold certificates for environmental, human rights, labor health and safety, as well as compliance with environmental legislation.
  • We prioritize environmentally sustainable suppliers and products, including food, beverages, construction materials, and consumables, and conduct periodic audits of them.
  • We consider that our suppliers utilize natural resources without harming the ecosystem.
  • In all purchasing activities, we respect animal rights, ensure that wildlife trade is sustainable, and comply with local/regional and international laws. We do not procure products that are illegal or sourced from endangered and threatened species.
  • We prefer environmentally certified products and suppliers among those derived from wood, paper, fish, other food items, and fuel. In places where certified products and suppliers are not available, we investigate and consider the growth or production origins and methods.
  • To minimize waste in our facilities, we carefully manage the purchase and use of less consumables and single-use materials, preferring reusable, returnable, and recycled products.
  • We expect our suppliers to work on minimizing waste and managing it correctly, offering less packaging or alternative packaging options for product packaging.
  • We pay attention to purchasing products that cause minimal harm to the environment and consume less energy, and prefer local/regional purchases to further minimize environmental harm during logistics and storage processes, aiming to reduce both emission rates.
  • We support local initiatives developing and selling sustainable products and services based on the region’s nature, history, and culture.
  • With the principle of fair trade; we avoid situations that would allow bribery, corruption, or conflicts of interest, and prioritize business partners that comply with legal regulations and commercial ethical rules in all areas. In this context, we measure and manage the ratios of the goods and services purchased.
  • We protect the intellectual property rights of all our business partners.
